How can business benefit from producing educational resources for
schools?
Businesses
produce educational material for many reasons.

For some of
our clients it is a way of ensuring accurate information about their industry is av ailable to pupils;
for others it
is a means of attracting pupils as future employees or customers. For
some it is an effort to ensure that cutting-edge science and
technology information is available; for
others it is a means of providing an insight into an industry that can no
longer open its doors to young pupils because of
health and safety
regulatio ns.
A
significant proportion of the educational material that we
produce is commissioned or sponsored by industry,
and is presented within an industrial
context.
We work
with industry, charities and
other organisations, to identify aspects of their
business, products or services to form the basis of educational
resources that will raise awareness and improve understanding
of their sector, while enhancing the learning experience of the
pupils.
At
the same time we work with the education sector to ensure that the
resources produced are educationally valid.
We can produce material
in a variety of formats, including books, charts, videos, CD-ROMs
and website pages.
Resources Plus can
undertake an entire project from initial research to publication, or
can provide individual aspects of the process, including:
- copy-editing
and proof-reading

We produce resources for
all ages, from early primary school to further education. |
