Do you wonder what happens to the information, resources, packs or kits you send to schools?
Would you like to raise your profile by running activities in schools?
Are you concerned about over committing your staff?
INSET
courses are an ideal way of guiding teachers through an educational resource and
highlighting how it can be used to the best advantage. Practical
workshop activities can significantly increase the potential for
educational material to be used effectively in classroom activities.
Resources
Plus organises, runs and evaluates courses, workshops, lectures and
seminars on behalf of business clients and sponsors.
This includes:
- in-service training (INSET) courses for primary and secondary school teachers and college lecturers
- presentations,
seminars and practical courses for link organisations such as Education
Business Partnerships (EBPs) and Science and Technology Regional
Organisations (SATROs)
Science and Technology events for pupils and students
- 'custom-designed' events for special occasions
- activities at science fairs.
For
each event we undertake all the planning, organisation and delivery
required, as well as providing equipment and materials. Trained
staff, who lead course delegates through the activities, are always on
hand to offer assistance and advice.
Recent courses have focused on Science, Design and Technology, Business Studies and Information and Communication Technology.
Courses
are designed to strengthen links between schools and businesses, for
example by running events at industrial and business venues such as
food manufacturers, post offices, car manufacturing plants, car dealerships, oil refineries
and steel works.
